CoreChair Task Chair
Select this option to get the most from your purchase. One of our highly trained IST team will deliver the chair, show you what the knobs and levers do, explain good posture and demonstrate how to adjust everything for maximum comfort so that you can do it yourself in future.
Active sitting on Core Chair stimulates circulation and activates and strengthens the stabilising core muscles. In turn, this prevents the negative consequences that come with inactivity and a sedentary state. By working the muscles, Core Chair also has a training effect that reduces the risk of back and neck pain.
Inactivity is at the core of modern life: long hours at work without the stimulation of short walks at break times, followed by sitting down for a drink in the evening or settling ourselves for a cosy few hours on the sofa. Unfortunately, working conditions and habits do not meet our body’s needs.
The vital systems of the human body are designed for movement, physical exertion and periods of rest. It’s only by reaching a balance that we can achieve optimal performance and remain focussed at work.
- The formed seat harmonises with the pelvic stabiliser to relieve pressure points, prevent slipping and provide additional comfort.
- Handles for adjusting the height of the seat allow for an open hip angle.
- The core mechanism enables movement in all directions up to 14 degrees. This gets you moving and stabilises your core muscles.

What our customers say
"I bought this keyboard on advice from an ergonomist during some training, so glad I did. It is very comfortable to use. As per the previous review it takes a short while to get used to the difference in the layout, but once you do it is very easy to use, just a very light touch needed on the keys rather than needing to bang on them really hard. I did buy the separate number pad, but I have yet to use it, considering sending it back as I'm not sure I will need it. If the keyboard is anything to go by it'll be brilliant for those that need a number input device."
