Osmond Group has entered into a collaboration with Microlink PC to offer a combined national service with regional offices across England, Scotland and Wales.
In a joint statement, Managing Directors Guy Osmond and Nasser Siabi said "The two companies have very similar cultures with excellent reputations for customer service. Microlink is the largest supplier of assistive technology in the UK and Osmond is the most innovative supplier of products to improve workplace ergonomics. Each has a presence in both the commercial and education sectors but the blend of business is very different. Combined with the differing product mix, the activities of the two operations are complementary in every respect". The new partnership will enable customers to source assistive technology and ergonomics products from their favoured supplier with a seamless integration of the services. The education sector will benefit from a simplified ordering, installation and training process and business clients will now be able to manage, assess and accommodate disabilities such as visual impairment or dyslexia in a similar way to musculo-skeletal disorders. The two companies will each continue to operate from their existing headquarters in Dorset and Hampshire but will share resources at the regional offices in London, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Plymouth, Birmingham and Newcastle .
